I don't know if there is a difference since I've never had a frozen one. Other than that, I think they're all pretty much the same. Those are the "fresh" turkeys. The source says they would NEVER buy a fresh turkey unless you know where it came from and when it was killed. The brand of frozen turkey generally makes no difference either.

We moved the turkey to a cutting board and covered it in tinfoil to rest for over an hour.
In that time I shorted the veg, and made a mash potato like dish out of it. Made a gravy too. After all this it was one of the best turkeys I have ever enjoyed. It was eaten over the next couple days, and even used the extra juice for a great soup. I felt great for doing this dinner. About a week latter I was at Walmart and saw they had these turkeys, but was shocked at the price. It was almost as much as a butterball. I thought it would be much cheaper. I wonder if the first one had something wrong with it?
