Who is the weakest avenger? Borderlands 3. Gaming Section Magazine. Welcome Back! The same could be said for Solid and Liquid, but they were carried as if a natural birth and both twins do have their own unique genetic makeup.
Solidus on the other hand really is just a proper lab grown Big Boss. Solidus is very specifically referred to as the third clone of Big Boss throughout the series and he was the last canonical clone to be born in the timeline. That said, the age gap between Solidus and his brothers is pretty much non-existent. All three brothers were born in the same year, Solidus just happened to be last. Of note, both Snakes who look exactly like Big Boss end up being the first two to die.
Despite being a clone of Big Boss, Solidus really does look like his own characters. The way the game frames things, however, makes it easy to miss. Specifically, the United States at the turn of the Revolution. At the end of the game, Solidus states that Washington entered office years prior to the events of the game when in reality he entered office years prior. Instead of reading or , Solidus claims that Washington entered office years prior.

User Info: reeshers. After all, Solidus is a perfect clone of Big Boss, without the shorter telemores or whatever to shorten his lifespan. Even if he did have shorter telemores, he still would be younger than Solid. But they ARE a little bit different.
The old version always struck me as being incredibly weird, with all the smiling that's actually not a smile but Let's hope they base all the future Snakes off of that model. It's awesome. It was about time BB changed his hair style. Nobody keeps his hair the exact same way for decades. And even if people do, so what. BB ends up having short, slicked back hair.
The pony tail is formed by the mullet and is a transitional stage. My guess is and I think it's highly plausible that the pony tail will get cut off at the end of MGS5, thus making him the "real" Big Boss. He already is in some way, but this will be the final visual representation of his transformation.
I think he looks more badass without the mullet anyway, so yeah It's badass and it's iconic and I love it. Now please don't hurt me for saying that I prefer the TPP model of BB over the GZ model three strap eye patch, no mullet but a pony tail that will most likely end up getting cut off, scars, horn, robot arm I'm with you.
I personally hope they give you the option once you beat the game to rock the slicked back hairstyle and change it from the mullet, etc. I doubt we'll see the ability for much customization in this game which would be unfortunate since it's open world and deserves customization! I would like to be able to pick a camo index, hairstyle, eyepatch, and possibly if they added a young or older Big Boss skin for a face swap like they did with facecamo in MGS4.
I can't wait to play as him. There's one thing that amuses me, though: Big Boss and Solid Snake have been rocking a mullet forever. And then there comes a game set in the eighties, and Big Boss gets a different hairstyle. Who would have known that the Snakes were hipsters.
